a one bedroom collaborator Clint Litton has been striving to establish a strong relationship between storytelling and the visual aesthetic since he began his graduate studies at the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2004. Given his background in literature and creative writing, Clint initially planned to focus on writing and directing, though he quickly found a more suitable fit on set, behind the camera.

Although he has recently been concentrating more on the many aspects of cinematography and lighting for dramatic effect, Clint’s primary focus has been the various components of shot design, such as composition, lens selection, camera position and movement to help convey narrative elements.

While his work at SCAD has primarily been in the narrative vein, Clint plans to expand his horizons to nonfiction and documentary filmmaking, excited by the opportunity to develop a more organic process by which to find and tell stories. A natural predisposition as the observer has also made for a strong draw to photography as a less exhaustive means of personal expression.
